I received my Ping2020 transceiver but I needed the Ping programmer to set the call sign and other relevant broadcast data.
The Ping programmer is also the PingUSB device. After programming the Ping2020 I can use it with the Foreflight app to see live ADS-B data. This is great since it helps me confirm that the transmitter is working. See the images below from the short ADS-B Out test.
